Do you want to be a Mentor for a Youth in your community, helping to identify “at risk” kids and benefiting them as a positive adult role model?
Mental Health America is looking for individuals in the following areas – Valley, Daniels, Sheridan and Roosevelt Counties – Part-time Positions.
The position tasks include a structured, one-to-one relationship or partnership that focuses on the needs of mentored youth fostering caring and supportive relationships.
Act as an advocate and mentor for the youth
Write activity summary reports
Have a non-judgmental attitude
Encourages individuals to develop to their fullest potential
Helps an individual to develop his or her own vision for the future
Develop active community partnerships
